Street Stock Rules & Information

All Rules Conform to Mountain Speedway Street Stock rules, except for:

Technical

·         Three-inch, driver’s side spot mirror will be allowed. No other mirrors will be permitted.

·         Reminder: One-way radios are required. No other radio communications will be allowed. (154.600 frequency)

·         Riverhead Chargers: must conform to Riverhead's written rulebook (click here to view it) and they must make the following changes - maintain a five-inch frame height (measured from the lowest point of the frame, including any added bolt-on weight), weigh a minimum 3,300 pounds, and a maximum of 55% left-side weight. And, of course, they must conform to NELMA's rules for tires, mirrors, and radios.

·         Mountain Speedway track tire must be used.

Procedural

Mountain Speedway Rules, with exceptions for:

Qualifying

·         Positions 1-14 will qualify by time trials, with a redraw to be determined by a fan.

·         Positions 15-20 will qualify by the 10-lap consi (if more than 27 cars).

·         Positions 21-25 will be reserved for past, recognized Street Stock full-season champions and Street Stock Fury winners.

o   Past Street Stock Fender Fury winners will have priority over past champions.

o   The most recent champions have priority. In an event of a tie, the past champion whose declared home track has the most entered cars, will be given the provisional.

o   If there are no eligible drivers for a provisional, the positions will be filled by the next qualified car through the consi.
