Sundance Vacations Speedway Late Model or
Riverhead Raceway Late Model rules, except for:
Technical
·
All cars conforming to
the aforementioned rules will be 2,900 lbs with 58%
left-side weight before qualifying/race.

Maximum 82" track width.
·
Two-way radios are allowed. Teams must have a
crewmember listening to race control via a one-way. It is
recommended that the driver monitor directly. Track
frequency: 154.600.
·
Must declare the rules you wish to use – Sundance or
Riverhead.
·
Track tire rule in effect.
·
Must start and finish on the tires you qualified on.
·
Those qualifying through the consi will be allowed an
extra two tires for the feature.
·
Tires may be changed only if they are damaged and
approved by an official. Any violation will result in
immediate disqualification.
Procedural
·
Positions 1-14 will qualify by time trials, with a
redraw to be determined by a fan.
·
Positions 15-20 will qualify by the 12-lap consi (if
more than 27 cars).
·
Positions 21-25 will be reserved for past, recognized
Late Model full-season champions and Late Model Challenge
winners.
·
Feature - After 50 laps, the race will go red flag,
cars will stop on the frontstretch, where two crewmembers
will be allowed to make any adjustments within the rules in
a time period of 10 minutes.
